Song of the Day: Ooh La La – Harry Hench

Recently signed to Manchester Music Group label, owned by Mr. Jones who was previously featured with tracks, ‘You’ and ‘Brand New’, HARRY HENCH shows the world what he’s made of with debut song ‘Ooh La La’, out now for your pleasure.

With a uplifting and flirtatious Latin-esque vibe, which is very fitting in becoming a summer anthem, the single shows Harry’s appreciation for his love interest, making him go simply, ooh la la!

Hailing from a small town in northwest England, Harry started his journey many years ago as answer to relieve the pressure of everyday life. Despite others trying to discourage him from his path, Harry casted any negativity aside and continued to hone his craft.

Harry’s journey is more than chasing frame; it’s more of a journey of self-discovery and self-love, reminding himself that – in the words of Muhammad Ali- ‘Impossible is Nothing’. Through his journey, Harry aims to inspire shy, troubled and vulnerable kids, that no one thinks of, to never give up on their dreams – no matter how great it is.

Since 2010 Tugz has been self releasing projects and singles, each one better than the last with the latest project being 2015’s Streets 2 Tha Studio which was followed up with a barrage of singles such as The Bad Guy and other ventures such as SNE Online, a Hip hop only radio station that connected listeners and shows across the world and his all new OG rolling Papers, just a few examples of the hustlers ambition that had gained him recognition in 2018’s ‘Uprising’ documentary which had featured in cinemas and film festivals in The UK, Europe and America.

Rapper OG Compass Drops Summer-Charged Track, ‘Sunny’.

After bursting onto the Canadian rap scene with his seminal debut EP Reign, breakouts tracks including ‘Tell Me What’s Up’ and ‘Don’t Wake Me Up’, and support from the likes of Billboard, Complex and Spotify, Toronto rap artist and producer OG COMPASS took a year-long hiatus in 2022 to plot his next move, hone his craft even further, and record his sophomore project. The Ontario native is back with a glorious new single titled ‘SUNNY’, as he officially announces his long-awaited and highly anticipated sophomore EP titled ‘Soleil’, which will be released at the end of the summer.

‘SUNNY’ is the lead single from OG Compass’ upcoming Soleil EP, and it sees OG invoking sunny days as he looks forward to the summer, while waxing lyrical about being able to enjoy new summer experiences, having escaped the traumas of his past life as a street soldier. The track was written and composed by OG Compass, with production from burgeoning 16-year-old beatsmith YoungSlashProd (May Wave$, LXNER), and it is driven by funky basslines, lush guitar licks, and OG Compass’ smooth cadence and infectious melodies, which all together make for a glorious rap offering.
