New Track: Love Never Dies – Atom & Bluxz (ft. Dallas & 5Star)

After a successful #1 radio single in Quebec, ATOM & BLUXZ dropped their brand new, fun-packed single, ‘Love Never Dies’ this week, available on all streaming/download sites.

Their intentions for their latest banger took a complete new direction and beyond the duo’s expectations. While playing the instrumental in the studio, ‘Love Never Dies’ caught the attention of singers/songwriters, Dallas and 5Star, who wrote the hook on the spot, adding a real pop vibe to their electrifying sound.

New Track: True Love – Revolvers

Continuing the stream of good music from the UK here on NEW LEASE MUSIC, is London band  REVOLVERS and their infectiously racy single, ‘True Love’, now out on all streaming/downloads sites.

Taking their stage name from the Beatles’ iconic album, The Revolver – and they make no sweet about it – the four-piece rockers was formed in 2017 and quickly clocked up a heavy following through jamming at live gigs across the capital with their fusion of modern indie rock and classic rock, inspired from the 60s and 70s.

The guys released their debut EP, ‘Indie Heroes’ last January, which incorporated a pop vibe to their hell-raising trademark, was met with positive feedback from critics and fans. This year, the guys are going even harder and with the release of four singles. The first offering of the year, ‘True Love’, is a bittersweet, nostalgic number with an outro full of hope that’s impossible to hate.

New Track: Girlfriend – Alison Dell

Hailing all the way from Bristol, electro-pop songstress ALISON DELL delivers her spanking new single entitled ‘Girlfriend’, available on all download/streaming sites from last Friday.

Dell’s latest offering – which kicks off with a moody ambience, building up to an energetic outro- documents the darker side of relationships and questions the behaviours of certain people involved in them.

‘Girlfriend’ follows Alison’s debut EP ‘Over’, released last May. Lead track, ‘Grenade’, was played on BBC Introducing in the West and was praised by presenters Sam Bonham and Richard Pitt, with Sam hailing Alison “the next pop princess”.

Start your week on the smooth note and have a listen to ‘Girlfriend’.

EP Review: Nothing Is Forever – Shon Jay

SHON JAY is that guy who set the bar high – and I mean unobtainably high among his music contemporaries.

His latest EP, ‘Nothing Is Forever’ may be only eight – tracks long, but there’s an electric mix of genres – from funk, old school soul and even an expected appearance of a little country – all of which oozes undisputed class.

Among a crowded industry that’s filled with quick-fix hits that’s easily forgotten, SHON JAY‘s ‘Nothing Is Forever’ is a true testament that there’s still GOOD and MEANINGFUL MUSIC out there and it’s definitely a collection that can be enjoyed from five or even ten years from now – I guess some things last forever.

Check him out below – it’s like listening to soul idols Stevie Wonder, Al Jarreau and George Benson, all wrapped up in one.
