Album Review: Metrosexual 2 – Ty Senoj

When TY SENOJ‘s latest album ‘Metrosexual 2’ arrived in my inbox, I had a feeling in my tummy that this ride is going to be anything but boring…

Released earlier this month, this set holds ten tracks boasting predominantly the chilled out soundscapes, where this Toronto-based rapper/producer drops his one liners through his brash flow, giving each and every track such vibrancy and an added bounce.

I tell you something for nothing: this flamboyantly styled poser’s tongue is made of acid…and his delivery is definitely on fire. Check him out below:

Must Listen: Blueish Green, No Dutty Panty, Fabulous, Pozer Boy.

New Track: Brown Sugar – Rozie

After working hard on her project, Canadian singer/songwriter ROZIE is ready to release…

Her first instalment comes in the form of a brand new single ‘Brown Sugar’, which sports  sun-kissed soundscapes with a tinge of Tom Misch-esque R&B/soul.

Her musical journey wasn’t an easy ride. After writing a record and putting out an album, somehow she felt unfulfilled. Now under the creative direction of producer Waspy from Dirty Radio – who fine tuned her vision – ROZIE could be on the come up with her new-found soulful trademark.

This one’s hard not to like…check out ‘Brown Sugar.’

New Music Video: Flex Like Dat – Olami Still

Fresh off its premiere via DJ Tiiny on Capital Xtra and its addition to the Spotify ‘Rap UK’ playlist, 19-year-old OLAMI STILL, dropped the release of his fourth single ‘Flex Like Dat’.

Influenced by his fathers love of hip-hop and rap music, the Londoner started writing original music at the tender age of eight and following the response of his 2017 EP release ‘Guide Me Out’, had a chance champion in DJ Charlie Sloth via 1Xtra, hit No. 3 on the iTunes Hip/Hop chart & number 48 overall iTunes chart.

Continuing his musical development, OLAMI STILL demonstrates the passion and influences that have continued to shape his music with his latest release. Produced by emerging production talent “Thrilla”, ‘Flex Like Dat’ is reminiscent of old school hip-hop, with the choppy keys and Olami’s smooth flow marrying together on this pre-summer vibe….check it out!

New Track: Chakra123 – Adam 888

Recently signed up by Warner Music, ADAM 888 releases his latest track, ‘Chakra 123’, the perfect combination of his spiritual beliefs, cosmic trap and melancholia. Taking influence from the likes of Post Malone, ADAM 888 weaves blissed-out cloud trap and hip-hop beats and loops in tandem with his very unique world view.

Expanding on his beliefs and passion for music, Adam said: “I work with beings from other dimensions – together with them, I create music and the whole visual concept is a reflection from the higher dimensions.
The unknown, the unseen, the space before anything becomes something. I use that intention in everything I create”.

Check out the cool production for ‘Chakra 123’.

New Music Video: Space – Phebe Edwards

Following the release of her single ‘Space’, PHEBE EDWARDS has now unveiled her brand new visuals for the ambient R&B offering.

Featuring the vocals of recently signed singer/songwriter Cameron Bloomfield, the four-minute production sees the London R&B singer and songwriter in an open field, with clips of dancers eloquently representing her desperation for some freedom and ‘Space’.

Written by the promising songstress and produced by Luke ‘G-kid’ Grant and Kadeem Clarke ‘Space’ offers a glimpse into Phebe’s EP, expected for release later this year.

Take time out and watch the stunning video for ‘Space.’..if you like what you hear,  Phebe will be performing on the 8th May at the Jazz Cafe, opening for Gabrielle’s new album launch – so if you’re in the London area around that time, go show your support!
