Watch Re.decay’s video For Single, ‘Sun In The Morning’

Owen Ross and Emanuel Bender – aka hip-hop duo RE.DECAY– have created the surreal music video for debut single, ‘Sun In The Morning (feat. ADH, Mawcom X, Sedric Perry)’ via SPRINGSTOFF.  The single is lifted from their upcoming EP, ‘Down Long Enough’ which will be released on 19 June.

Re.decay reveal a little more about the magic that went into creating the music video: “Sun In The Morning was filmed and conceived by Alex Forge, a wildly talented French film maker. Sedric shot his part in Owen’s studio in Berlin while ADH and Mawcom X filmed their parts in NYC and Accra respectively. Then Alex edited it in Spain and uploaded it over a full day on WiFi that was struggling with the number of quarantined people on it. Like all of our endeavours it involved an international group of creative people overcoming obstacles to make something great.”

Song of the Day: That Feeling – Liquid Ltd

In these unprecedented times, Stephen “Liquid Ltd” Hawley has created a light spirited feel good vibe on his latest single, ‘That Feeling’.

Nestling perfectly between sadboi hip hop like Powfu’s ‘Deathbed’ alongside a noughties Kid Rock’s ‘All Summer Long’, from the first note of ‘That Feeling’, the emotion is set with a crazy smooth flowing, sun drenched summer sensation that carries an infectious melody over slow riding beats accompanied by worlitzer keys and splashes of guitar that seamlessly dance and groove to Liquid’s floetry.

Liquid Ltd is best known for his work in co-writing the multi-platinum selling hit ‘Drinking In LA’ which saw him travel the world playing major festivals and performing on Top Of The Pops and MTV back in the day with his Bran Van 3000 clique.

Produced by Emmy nominated/Billboard charting producer Rench out of Brooklyn, ‘That Feeling’ is out now on various download/streaming sites…check it out below.

Song of the Day: Tease – Ronnie Scott

Originally from Texas, RONNIE LOTT moved to New York City where he was surrounded by classic East Coast Hip-Hop. Submerging himself into the city’s music scene, Ronnie draws influence from the likes of Biggie, LL Cool J and Mase. Blending these old-school sounds with smooth R&B melodies, Ronnie has set himself in a league of his own.

Having achieved huge success with his previous releases ‘Chanel’ and ‘Kris Kross’, Ronnie has accumulated over one million streams on Spotify alone and build a hugely loyal online following. Now returning with ‘Tease’, the rapper takes a more melodic approach to hip-hop. Delivered with a smooth flow, the track is another great inclusion to the summer playlist.

‘Tease’ tells a story of infidelity involved in a complicated relationship Ronnie was previously involved in. Speaking more on the track, Ronnie explained: “The meaning behind the lyrics is pretty simple, it’s about me chasing this girl who has a boyfriend, but the girl still shows signs of interest in me, so I tell her all these good things in hopes to make her mine, but she just plays games which leads to me calling her a tease.”

Song of the Day: Calling You – HXXD

Following on from his recent drop ‘Conversations Freestyle’, Mancunian native HXXDZ continues to bring the levels with single, ‘Calling You’.

Taking influence from Trap and Drill with the additional flair of alternative hip-hop, ‘Calling You’ shows also a softer side to Hxxdz in comparison to his harder drill type flow on previous releases. This sees him taking a more melodic approach whilst clearly showing his versatility to be able to switch between various genres.

The by product of a musical pallet means Hxxdz sound morphs the transatlantic sounds and influence neatly into his style with cold flows, an unstoppable delivery and a knack for lyrical creation. Having received support from the likes of Mixtape Madness, Link Up TV, P110 and GRM Daily, this young artist is really making a name for himself in the UK scene.

With a slew of releases in the pipeline, this really is just the beginning for Hxxdz, growing as an artist with each release, he’s someone you should definitely be keeping an eye on. Check him out below…
