RICARDO WILLIAMS slams down his third single of the year, ‘Between Us’, taken from his upcoming EP: ‘Love Tape II’ due out later this year.
In this latest single, the UK powerhouse continues to wave the R&B flag, this time adding some uptempo spice to lyrics, fueled with pure, unadulterated cheekiness.
Out today on your preferred music provider, ‘Between Us’ follows Ricardo’s epic slow jam ‘Sorry’.
Recorded in his basement as well as in singer Roman Clarke’s studio, SEBASTIAN GASKIN‘s brand new single, ‘Snakehold’ was inspired by a toxic relationship that went on for years, backed up by the haziness of old-school dance/funk vibes.
Sebastian first came on the radar with the release of his debut Contradictions EP in May 2019 on his own independent label imprint LieBoy Concepts, and followed up the album with a cross-Canada tour. To date, he has two number one songs on the National Indigenous Countdown and was a recent recipient of Canada’s Indigenous Music Award.
Acclaimed Hip-Hop artist and poet OTIS MENSAH announces the release of his new single ‘No Record Store Day’, written at the beginning of the global pandemic. The song delves into a feeling of cabin fever, using the cancellation of Record Store Day as a metaphor to explore a deeper sense of social disquietude. Over moody psychedelic instrumentation produced by The Intern, Otis paints the journey with frantic poetry, wrestling over ego and self-worth; finding the political in the personal.
Hailing from Sheffield, Otis Mensah combines vivid storytelling with atmospheric and experimental Hip-Hop sounds. Titled Sheffield’s first poet laureate in 2018, Otis has worked and toured with heavyweights such as Benjamin Zephaniah, KOTA the Friend, Open Mike Eagle, Mahalia and Blu & Exile. Otis has also received support from The Guardian, Earmilk, I Am Hip Hop Magazine, BBC: Introducing; CALM; Worldwide FM and The Noise Gate.
‘No Record Store Day’ is the third episode of #OtisMensahExists, a series of new music and animation art released every three weeks.

A far cry from his previous summer breezy R&B/pop track, ‘Everything’ FABIAN SECON‘s new effort, ‘Attitude’ see him stepping away from his UK afterhours trademark and infecting some punches of 80s style synth funk.
Following her last single, ‘Masterpiece’, which racked up over 30,000 plays on SoundCloud, gaining support from MOBO Awards, BBC 1xtra and Link Up TV, CILLA RAIE makes her way to today’s hot spot with her latest single, ‘Ain’t No One’, produced by Joey Dyer (Iggy Azalea – Fancy, Katy B).
Combining her love for R&B and soul music, ‘Ain’t No One’ delivers soft and sultry vocals with heartfelt lyrics, drawing inspirations from the likes of Aaliyah, Mya, Brandy and Toni Braxton.
The North London singer/songwriter began recording music at just 14-years-old, with grime producer DaVinche (Stormzy, Skepta, Wiley) being one of her key mentors during the early stages of her musical journey. Having secured successful sessions and connections with key UK and US producers and writers, this birthed her first self-titled debut EP ‘Cilla Raie’ produced by the likes of Sillky (Mabel, Mahalia, Craig David) and The Arcade (Doja Cat, Khalid, Migos). She later embarked on a national school tour with UK Music and delivering music workshops to students across the UK.
This year will see Cilla releasing a series of singles as well as a body of work due to be released in 2021, which pays homage to R&B and embodying the growing pains of love and life as a young black British woman.
