New Track: Glory – Chloe Bodur

19-year-old North West Londoner CHLOE BODUR has been causing quite a stir with her single  ‘Glory.’ Fusing elements of neo-soul, jazz and pop, her newest number stole the Track of the Day spot on numerous BBC Introducing stations, as well as being added to rotation on Jazz FM.

Produced by UK Top 10 charting producer JD.Reid (Mabel, Katy B, Sinead Harnett, D Double E),  ‘Glory’ focuses on vulnerability and the underlying sense of loneliness. Bodur reveals, “It was originally written as a poem about youth trying to find love in themselves and in others and how one correlates with the other”.

Raised in a mixed heritage family, whilst immersed in vibrant London, Bodur credits her multi-cultural upbringing for her array of musical influences. Idolising the likes of Billie Holiday and Frank Sinatra, as well as gaining inspiration from artists such as Quincey Jones, D’angelo and Frank Ocean.

Deemed the most promising new act and already selling out live shows,CHLOE BODUR is ready for the next step of her musical endeavour with the highly anticipated release ‘Glory’, available from yesterday.

New Track: I got You – Soho Kings (ft. Khaya)

Following the release of track, ‘Life of the Party’ – which was named Song of the Month twice by NEW LEASE MUSIC – SOHO KINGS have dropped a brand new number entitled, ‘I Got You.’

Featuring the vocals of X-Factor finalist and their newest collaborator, Khaya, this upbeat hip-hop/electropop combo is about having that unconditional love with a significant other – well the name of the track speaks for itself! Check it out.

New Track: Hype Like Supreme – Sub Blue

Taking his name from his self-described style of music, “suburban blues”, SUB BLUE offers a fresh take on chilled out, alternative introspective R&B through brand new single, ‘Hype Like Supreme’, the first track taken from Sub Blue’s new EP, out in 2018. It was produced by British soul artist and producer  XAMVOLO.

His  EP, ‘Suburban View, is produced by the likes of Sir Dylan (Weeknd, Solange, Logic), A.V (Frank Ocean) and XamVolo,  is a glimpse at the life of teens trying to find their place in the world, while navigating peer and social pressure and trying to define their own voice. For now, SUB BLUE gives a taste of that style and direction, with ‘Hype Like Supreme’, an ode to both a teenage crush described using the abnormal craze evoked by drops of coveted items like Supreme.

The electronic soul/ R&B newcomer grew up in the suburbs of Merseyside in the North of England. He was named the first ever ‘One to watch’ by Liverpool International Music Festival’s Academy, he was just leaving school at the time.

Since then he’s been honing his sound with local talent including XamVolo, Teesoulful and SPXKEN and putting the final touches to his debut EP.

New Track: I Want You – JAS x Mpho (ft. Nevita)

Within two weeks of featuring track ‘Hell Or Heaven’, J.A.S makes his presence known, teaming up with long-term collaborator Mpho with a seriously dope house number entitled, ‘I Want You.’

The three-minute sultry club filler features the smooth vocals of Nevita, who previously lent her voice to J.A.S‘ track, ‘The Moment‘.

J.A.S and Mpho previously stole the limelight with track, ‘Set Me Free‘ which was named Song of the Month by the blog in April.
