Song of the Day: Dropping Bombs – Drywater (ft. Teddy Gramz)

Upcoming producer/rapper/DJ DRYWATER injects some much needed energy to blast away those Monday blues with track appropriately titled, ‘Dropping Bombs’, where seriously gutsy hip-hop beats meets the bounce of the trap and intermittent dubstep drive.

Hailing from Israel, Drywater shown interest in music from the age of seven, experimenting with old software and learning the process of making music. With a lot of experience and productions he made for other artists in his pocket, he decided that he wants to run his own brand and project which is of course named Drywater…So expect a trail of blaming joints from this upriser this year!

Song of the Day: So Fly – Fly Von

After a very lengthy hiatus, one of NEW LEASE MUSIC’s longstanding staples – FLY VON – starts afresh this year with two releases – ‘High Fly’ and ‘So Fly’.

Song of the Day: Breakup Tutorial – Laraw

LARAW‘s latest single, ‘Breakup Tutorial’, is probably one of her rawest material to date. Draped in downtempo pop soundscapes, which builds up to raging emotive guitar riffs, her latest effort chronicles a traumatic breakup which stills resonates with the Canadian singer/songwriter and reaches out to those who lived through the same experience.

More music on the way from this talented contender…but for now, have a listen to ‘Breakup Tutorial’…

Song of the Day: Sick Of The Radio – Amy Petty

With airy soundscapes – or should I say dreamscapes – which eloquently meets layers of alluring backing vocals, it comes to no surprise that AMY PETTY‘s single, ‘Sick Of The Radio’ is met with raving reviews from the Adult Contemporary scene.

Among the mesmerising arrangements, Petty tops it off with her equally alluring vocal performance which comes all soulful and soul-tuggingly gutsy.

‘So Sick of the Radio’ is taken her latest album, ‘The Darkness of Birds’, out now on all major download/streaming sites.

Song of the Day: Yuri – Esofact

Urple Eeple (Peter Farr) and Isturite’s (Kevin Welch) aka ESOFACT’s  latest track ‘Yuri’, leads the way for their self-titled debut EP, out via Chillage Records.

Their EP possess a conducive yet groovy production, coming together with small interesting echoing elements throughout the four tracks. ‘Yuri’ shines out amongst the tracks, with an  frantic pace set to a waterfall of electronic sounds, without it becoming too overwhelming or messy to the prospective listener.

Based in California and Los Angeles respectively, Farr and Welch met in their teens and would go to endless festivals together, teaching each other about music production throughout the years. They both played the guitar as youngsters and later fell in love with electronic music through early rave culture. They eventually decided to collaborate and released their first single as Esofact in 2014. ‘I’ve Got That’ was groundbreaking and began to define ‘future’ as a new way of approaching musical compositions….
