Rosie Shaw Delivers A Compelling Female Empowerment Single, ‘In Bloom’, Out Today

Up and coming alternative R&B singer, ROSIE SHAW sings (nope, wrong word) BLOWS with conviction in her brand new single, ‘In Bloom’.

Possessing a rich soulful/gospel – inspired vibe, the single stems from her experience of breaking away from a toxic relationship and blossoming into a stronger person.

‘In Bloom’ is the UK songstress’ second single, following her stunning debut, ‘Trust Issues’, which is about being ‘apologetically jealous’ within a relationship. The single has showcased her as ‘an old soul trapped in a young body’.

Now this is RAW talent right here…check out Rosie’s ‘In Bloom’ below…

Song of the Day: Spencer Street – Ren

REN brings something soothing for the weekend with latest single ‘Spencer Street’, the follow up to the well received ‘Blue Hounds’.

Unlike ‘Blue Hounds’, a protest song in the classic mould, ‘Spencer Street’ is, as Ren explains “a nostalgic song reflecting on a relationship and life I had in Newcastle a few years ago. I wrote it whilst I was on the road a year or so after the break up. But ‘Spencer Street’ with her still felt like home to me.”

REN – real name Conor Owen – first came onto the music circuit with debut EP, ‘A Calling From The Shore’ which, to date, has received over 700K streams on Spotify. He recently supported Sam Fender, Westerman and Elvis Perkins as well as appearing as an extra in Bohemian Rhapsody.

New Track: Strangers – Selci

Following the release of the dreamy video for lead single ‘Truth in the Sea’,  alt-pop producer SELCI  shares second single, ‘Strangers’, taken from her debut ‘Effervescence’ EP, due out independently on 28th August.

The latest single perfectly displays the Calgary artist’s prowess as a budding electronic producer abounds. In a series of flashbacks, SELCI recalls the painful process of breaking up as each verse playing out like a final, one-sided exchange and desperate plea for an answer.

Over the past year, SELCI has shared bills with Neon Indian and Ryan Hemsworth and played festivals such as Canadian Music Week, Sled Island Music & Arts Festival, Big Fun Festival, and more. Her Effervescence Tour will cross Canada in October of 2019.
