New Track: True Love – Revolvers

Continuing the stream of good music from the UK here on NEW LEASE MUSIC, is London band  REVOLVERS and their infectiously racy single, ‘True Love’, now out on all streaming/downloads sites.

Taking their stage name from the Beatles’ iconic album, The Revolver – and they make no sweet about it – the four-piece rockers was formed in 2017 and quickly clocked up a heavy following through jamming at live gigs across the capital with their fusion of modern indie rock and classic rock, inspired from the 60s and 70s.

The guys released their debut EP, ‘Indie Heroes’ last January, which incorporated a pop vibe to their hell-raising trademark, was met with positive feedback from critics and fans. This year, the guys are going even harder and with the release of four singles. The first offering of the year, ‘True Love’, is a bittersweet, nostalgic number with an outro full of hope that’s impossible to hate.

Dell’s latest offering – which kicks off with a moody ambience, building up to an energetic outro- documents the darker side of relationships and questions the behaviours of certain people involved in them.

‘Girlfriend’ follows Alison’s debut EP ‘Over’, released last May. Lead track, ‘Grenade’, was played on BBC Introducing in the West and was praised by presenters Sam Bonham and Richard Pitt, with Sam hailing Alison “the next pop princess”.

New Track: Sweet Little Lies – Bülow

Critically acclaimed German born pop iconoclast BÜLOW has released a brand new single called ‘Sweet Little Lies’, available on all download and streaming sites.

On the meaning behind the song the 19-year-old remarked, “’Sweet Little Lies’ is about creating false realities. When things get real, we find escapes. Sometimes it’s hobbies, and sometimes it’s people. But the degree of it we can’t always control.”

The latest single arrives just after the news that BÜLOW has received four nominations for the 2019 JUNO Awards, including Pop Album of the Year and Breakthrough Artist of the Year. Ahead of performing at the 2019 JUNO Awards on March 17th, BÜLOW will perform at SXSW in Austin, Texas.

The eagerly awaited new single follows the previously released ‘Damaged Vol. 1’ & ‘Damaged Vol. 2’, each instantly resonated with critics and new fans alike. ‘Damaged Vol. 1’ included ‘Not A Love Song’ which to date has clocked over 83 million streams.

‘Damaged Vol. 2’ included singles ‘You & Jennifer,’ ‘Honor Roll’, and buzzworthy ‘SAD AND BORED’,  praised by PAPER as, “the perfect pop study in contrasts, and further confirms bülow as an artist to watch with razor-sharp wit to boot.” HillyDilly called her “one of the brightest new talents in pop.” Last year also saw BÜLOW released much buzzed about ‘Two Punks In Love’.

Although BÜLOW has only just begun her musical journey with these recent releases, the music already stands tall as an impressive flag-bearer for things to come….
