Country Dons Drops First Banger Of The Year Titled ‘Family’

Members Rokky, Maroc and Blaze – aka COUNTRY DONS – shows how life’s adversity created their strong brotherly bond in latest track, ‘Family’. Aiming to keep their identity under wraps, each driller take on their own hefty verse over the track’s aggressive instrumental.

The accompanied visuals for the slamming track was filmed in London, which sees the guys take a step out of their country ends in Farnborough. The blazing production was directed by visionary legend Pacman TV, who is an expert in the game for around 10 years. The crew keep their energy levels high throughout the whole video, reflecting the power from their heavy hitting bars.

The highly tipped trio have featured on tracks alongside the legend that is Charlie Sloth, who has cemented his identity within the global rap scene, as well as Suspect another highly respected UK rap figures. This exciting collaboration was released only last month (December) and has already hit over 1M streams on YouTube alone.

The crew made a big entrance to the UK Drill scene and are known for their unique sound. The group have collectively racked a crazy number of views on platforms like YouTube, accumulating over 15.5M views on their track ‘Sticky Situations’, as well as over 14M views on their track ‘Ramsay’. Back in October they released their single ‘Drippers’ which hit 2.5M views and their Daily Duppy released, earlier this month, has reached over 1M.

French The Kid Drops First Track of 2022, ‘Remedy’

FRENCH THE KID smashes into 2022 with his self-reflective new single ‘Remedy’.

Released via Virgin, this haunting record finds French lamenting the toll that drink, drugs and a life of excess can take on your mental health. Laid over a siren-like, intoxicating production by producer SketchMyName, ‘Remedy’ arrives with an arresting video shot by Ourchive Films, featuring footage from French’s sold-out, roadblock, homecoming debut show at the O2 Academy Islington.

‘Remedy’ follows a meteoric 2021 for French. The rising rapper’s fiery singles ‘Thrill’ and ‘Uptown’ quickly racked up millions of streams upon release, hit the B List at 1Xtra and landed in the Top 100. Setting the industry alight with his unique fusion of thoughtful lyricism and addictive hooks, French has been tipped as an Amazon Music ‘One To Watch’ for 2022 alongside the likes of Tems and PinkPantheress.

Just 22 years old, French spent his teens in South West France before returning to the UK at 18 to take the music industry by storm. Since smashing onto the scene with his debut single just 2 years ago, French The Kid has amassed a cult following, millions of streams and delivered iconic viral freestyles that have propelled him to prominence (including a GRM Daily ‘Daily Duppy’ which has become one of the most viewed Daily Duppy debuts of all time).

Song of the Day: Fake Love – Paps

UK Hip Hop & Rap artist PAPS speaks on his own personal experiences through track ‘Fake Love’ and how he still managed to come out on top despite the odds being stacked against him.

Fusing a melodic hook with his signature punchy bars atop of a trap-infused instrumental produced by Crooza, Paps undeniably delivers an infectious, radio-ready hit. Paps enlists director Alisha Gordon for the track’s swanky, Central London based music video, showcasing his engaging artist presence and style.

Born in India’s capital Delhi, Paps grew up in East London before moving to Dagenham where he currently resides. During his early life, his interests consisted of being outside with his friends as opposed to education as promoted by his parents. After beginning to lose friends to the streets, he became heavily influenced by his father who showed him the importance of investing in himself. It wasn’t until a close friend of his passed away that he decided to pursue his passion – music.

Since then, he has indefinitely made his mark on the UK music scene, with notable releases such as ‘Dripping’ featuring Crooza (GRM Daily) being amongst his most popular to date.

Paps has plans to release more music in 2022 and beyond, collaborating with other artists and injecting his unique style and flair onto the industry in signature “Paps style”.
