Song of the Day: Flood Gates – Sleeplust.

SLEEPLUST has jumped back into the NEW LEASE MUSIC limelight with the second single of the year, entitled ‘Flood Gates.’

For this latest offering, the four piece band adopted a downtempo yet catchy electronic bass with an equally infectious sugary-sweet pop overtones, making it a great treat for the hot months ahead.

Out late last month, ‘Flood Gates’ serves as the lead up to their EP, schedule for released later in the year….Go on, have a listen.

Mixtape Review: The Blue Tape 2 – Dizzy Rambunctious

Following the release of mixtape ‘Wond3rland’ in March, DIZZY RAMBUNCTIOUS isn’t messing around and slams another one, this time entitled ‘The Blue Tape 2’.

The title of the nine-set project pretty much gives it all away with occasional jazz-esque tones alluringly meeting the New Jersey producer’s trademark – that bombastic bassline.

Although there are a few great tracks, I’m not sure that this mixtape has the same oomph as its predecessor, ‘Wond3rland‘. Have a listen and see what you think – and don’t be afraid to comment below!

Must Listens: Days, Sazon, Sunshine Notes.

New Track: I Don’t Think They Understand – EyeZay Yah

Coming from Orlando, Florida hip-hop duo EYEZAY YAH have recently dropped a slick number, ‘I Don’t Think They Understand’, just in time for those crazy summer months…if you’re digging this track, keep it locked on NEW LEASE MUSIC, as these guys have plenty more sizzlers in the pipeline.

Song of the Day: Midnight Moon – John Tracy

Today’s song comes from one of JOHN TRACY‘s recent releases, entitled ‘ Midnight Moon’.

The ‘performing songwriter’ from Virginia has built a solid reputation for combining lyrics reflecting real life with heart-wrenching soundscapes of folk, blues, acoustic rock and soul.

He’s a national charting artist with two singles from his 2016 album ‘Happy Ever After’ breaking the top 10 on the US FMQB AC Chart, as well as playing on radio and syndicated shows across the UK and Europe. John’s music videos have attracted attention from all over the music video programming spectrum in the US and Canada.

So far, JOHN TRACY has released three singles this year entitled ‘I’ve Got To Find Myself’,’ The Shallow Game’ and ‘Midnight Moon’. However it was ‘Midnight Moon’ that make it to today’s hotspot as Tracy’s folk/soulful vocals inject full-on passion to the soothing trademark, which somehow leaves you inspired and full of hope.

It goes without saying that this folkser produces real music for real life – so I highly recommend you have a listen to ‘Midnight Moon’ – simply beautiful.
