Song of the Day: Super Soldier – State Of Nation (ft. Ghost Killah & Killah Priest)
London based artist and producer STATE OF NATION has teamed up with the Legendary Wu-Tang Clan for the rambunctious track, ‘Super Soldier’ taken from State of Nation’s debut album ‘Dark to Light’, to be released at the end of 2022.
Ghostface Killah comes through and rocks a super cosmic opening with galactic level articulation and hype delivery to kick off the journey into the Super Soldier story! In true, unique, Ironman style, Ghost takes us interstellar before the breathtaking chorus locks in the catchy and emotional hook. The depth of the second verse dropped by the ever philosophical Killah Priest is a testament to his expansive knowledge of the universe. The storytelling of Priest captures your imagination in ways that no other rapper can come even close to on this rollercoaster rhyme.

Sakyi Comes Through With Debut EP, ‘Four’
After becoming semi-finalists in Britain’s Got Talent in 2015, SAKYI has kept the title as of one of UK’s promising R&B group. Their debut single, ‘Bad As You’, featured on SBTV, went on to garnered over 40K, firmly placing them in the view of UK’s biggest music tastemakers, such as BBC 1xta’s DJ Ace and Sian Anderson.
More recently, Sakyi launched a weekly live session called Sakyi Sundays, where the guys interact with fans and showcase their silky smooth harmonies. The session has gained a huge following within a short space of time, generating over 500k followers in just six months.
Now the four-piece act, consisting of brothers Reece Aaron, Carl and Eden, keeps the hype going by making blazing return with debut EP ‘Four’, out now across various music platforms.
‘Four’ EP marks a new chapter for the group as they make their debut as producers. The six-track set alternates between chilled R&B, inspired from the from nineties and noughties, and some exuberant presence of Afro flavours.
Prior to the release of the EP, Sakyi performed two tracks from the EP (‘Run My Way’ and ‘Save Me’) at Ghana Party in the Park in July to over 4,000 people and was met with a raving reponse. Their lead single, ’24 hours’ was featured on Sian Anderson’s Online Finds on BBC 1xtra.
Now with their EP is gaining ground, it’s very safe to assume that Sakyi can only go from strength to strength, making them the ones to watch for 2022. Have a listen to ‘Four’ EP below…

Following a string of successful singles so far this year, DDG the multi-platinum Michigan rapper has made a strong return with the visuals to his latest seductive single, ‘If I Want You’.
On the track, DDG serves up emotionally charged verses and a hypnotic hook underlined by beautiful background vocals and mesmerizing harmonies. The music video is starring none other than his girlfriend Halle Bailey of Chloe x Halle who appears in the accompanying cinematic visual, which depicts their vibe on-screen in a fascinating fashion. Song of the Day: Clap It (Remix) – Young Tete (ft. Boosie Badazz
Just when you thought Megan Thee Stallion served us enough eye candy in her videos, YOUNG TETE comes through with her latest club joint – the remix to her strip club anthem, ‘Clap It’, featuring Southern rap veteran Boosie BadAzz.
The Westside of Atlanta, Georgia native rewarded clubs with the original version of her breakout single, and now the blooming ATL rap star follows up with an updated version and visual for the Rusremixradio-produced banger.
The sultry video has plenty of eye candy and features a verse and cameo from rap veteran Boosie BadAzz. The new single will be featured on Young TeTe’s upcoming debut mixtape, ‘Came a Long Way’. The project is slated to drop later this year and will feature Boosie BadAzz, Young Dro and more.
