An independent artist from Northamptonshire, whose genre spans RnB, Pop and Neo-Soul, Megzz uses her talents to empower others, promote self-love and speak out about issues such as mental health. Her debut EP ‘Feel My Love’ (2019) explored these topics and introduced her distinctive sound; gaining support from BBC Introducing and notable magazines/blogs such as AnR Factory and Discover Nü. This support continued with her next single (Tell Me Why, 2020) and throughout the pandemic, where Megzz hosted and performed at virtual gigs to raise money for organisations such as Black Lives Matter, Womankind and Mind UK.

Song of the Day: Good Thing – Harry Cracknell

HARRY CRACKNELL‘s break up record, ‘Good Thing’ is a mature offering, showcasing both the 22-year-old’s vocals and songwriting ability. Always possessing a love for music, as a teen, Harry supported the multi-platinum selling boy band Blue at a 20,000-attending show as well as, The Game on the Amsterdam show of his European tour.

After his 2019 collaboration with Landis and Breikthru, Harry was rewarded with his biggest release to date and an insight into his potential. The track ‘Find Me’ has amassed over 750,000 streams on Spotify alone and placed across UK TV shows. MOBO-nominated Artist Olaedo Ibe Releases Inspirational single, ‘Manifest’

Singer-songwriter OLAEDO IBE’s new single, ‘Manifest,’ is an anthem for anyone going through adversity, offering encouragement to never give up, as there will be light at the end of the tunnel.

The London artist was going through personal challenges at the start of the pandemic, which led to the decision to put her song writing skills on the back burner.

The contemporary R&B songstress explains how the Kerba Music-produced track came to fruition: “After experiencing strong bouts of writer’s block, I had a dream that someone was singing Manifest. When I woke up I quickly recorded the song and started working on the song in early 2020 during the first lockdown.”

Starting out singing in church and local events from a young age, Olaedo found her forte in combining music with words of empowerment that’s relatable and touching to people, regardless of race, background and religious beliefs. Her crossover appeal gave her the opportunity to share the stage with Motown legend Peobo Bryson.

She released her debut EP, ‘Shine Like Gold’ in 2015, which gained a nomination for the MOBO Premier Gospel Music and Urban Music award later that year. Olaedo followed up with her second EP, ‘Grow to Glow’ in 2018 which features ‘Lead Me’, ‘Good Life’, featuring Leke and Becca Folkes, and ‘Fill Us (Children’s song)’. All three tracks from the EP claimed the top ten spot on the UK Christian Chart.

Now Olaedo returns, offering a tower of strength in times of trouble, through latest release, ‘Manifest,’ out from 10th September on various music platforms.

Luke November Drops New Track ‘Queen Bee’ + Video

Fresh from being sampled on Pop Smoke’s ‘Faith’ and Kanye West’s ‘DONDA’, East London’s promising talent, LUKE NOVEMBER continues to perfect his hybrid sound with Brand new track ‘Queen Bee’.

Taking an alternative route to his counterparts, Luke November is rapidly gaining international support ahead of his homegrown discovery. Following the release of his track ‘Call Me Bad’, Kanye West’s management team were quick to contact Luke November. They loved his music and wanted to sample it on Kanye’s collaboration with Pop Smoke and Pusha T. Entitled ‘Tell The Vision’ the track debuted on the U.S Billboard 200 and features on Kanye West’s critically acclaimed album ‘DONDA’ and Pop Smokes posthumously released album ‘Faith’.

Still in the throes of discovery, Luke November is one of East London’s most prominent up and coming artists and his ‘Queen Bee’ release is the crescendo of a whirlwind year for the experimental musician. Providing soulful, melodic vocals over an aggressive sounding drill beat, ‘Queen Bee’ rises to a different level with it’s extremely catchy hook that contrasts perfectly with the fast-paced delivery of the verses. A smooth undertone of a soft, feminine vocal blesses the record to flawlessly harmonise with Luke’s deeper tones.
