BLÜ EYES Releases Lyric Video For Latest Single, ‘Just Life’

LA-based singer/songwriter BLÜ EYES unveils official lyric video for her fifth release of the year, ‘Just Life’, The relatable track, co-written with Jonny Shorr and Haley Joelle, tells a story of fights between friends that feel like actual breakups.

“The first line of the chorus is, “There’ll be nights you wanna punch the wall / spend ‘em crying in a bathroom stall,” and during that rough, emotional time, I lived out those lines like they were some sort of freaky premonition,” she explains. “I quite literally cried in several bathroom stalls while listening to that demo on my phone, speaker pressed up against my ear, trying to reassure myself that I was going to get through it.”

‘Just Life’ will appear on BLÜ EYES’ debut album, due next year.

Bby Ivy Drops Second Track, ‘Rewind’

Following her debut track, ‘Sweet Like Honey’, released last month, fierce pop/R&B princess, BBY IVY circles back and slams a hard-hitting joint entitled ‘Rewind’

Sporting a topical(ish) R&B vibe, Bby’s latest release chronicles when a friendship quickly turns toxic.

The 16-year-old newcomer says: “I wanted to create a song to vibe to which leaves you feeling no guilt if you choose to leave these people in the past, even if it’s a friend you’ve had for life or a relative.” Check out ‘Rewind’ below…

New Music Video: The Thunder – Goldteeth

With debut self-titled EP out now in full, GOLDTEETH now unveils the official video for ‘The Thunder’

In the visual, directed and shot by Oliver Brian Productions, Nicholson portrays this metaphorically in the form of a car passenger, by being ‘always at your side, through any situation’, good or bad.

‘The Thunder’ is the second single from his self-produced, genre bending E.P. While the bass still remains his main weapon of choice, the last decade has seen Andy Nicholson appear in a vast array of forms. Whether it be as a founding member and bassist of the hip hop and indie-rock hybrid Mongrel, or as a studio producer working with the likes of Toddla T, Swindle, Tom Prior and Terri Walker – Nicholson has continued to stay active and contributing to Sheffield’s iconic music history.
