Song of the Day: Without Me – Celine Ellis

Hailing from Northamptonshire (UK), accomplished singer-songwriter and independent recording artist CELINE ELLIS has 20 years of songwriting tucked under her belt and has been around a block or two, and down enough roads to have a few stories to tell. Songs like ‘Without Me’ and ‘Fallen Angel’ show us just how deeply Celine see’s the world, and she conveys this with such honesty and grit. ‘Drive On Through’ shows us her adventurous, playful side, and really brings home that catchy, singable chorus that defines any road trip playlist.

Song of the Day: Thinking Of You (Déjà Vu) – Tilly Valentine

TILLY VALENTINE‘s her latest single ‘Thinking of You (Déjà Vu)’ is a great escapism song. So when things in reality doesn’t go to plan, let subconscious dreams kick in and play things the way you would like them to go.

Valentine says: “Sometimes your subconscious just can’t let someone go, and your dreams keep taking you where you’ve been before.” Her first single of the year was co-written by artist and writer, Jack Vallier, and produced at Numen Studios (Dermot Kennedy, Emily Burns, Dua Lipa, Zara Larsson and more).

Song of the Day: Judge Me – Ludic

Vancouver alt-pop group LUDIC‘s single ‘Judge Me,’ the first release off their debut EP out in April 2022, marks the first time that guitarist Ayla Tesler-Mabe has joined bassist/lead vocalist Max Cunningham on vocals, to create a velvety smooth duet.

The song was written about feeling lonely in a relationship and feeling like you can’t do anything right; the constant effort to try and change is not working and is instead being met with more criticism by the other half.

‘Judge Me’ is a step forward for Ludic – while it retains the quirky and offbeat sound of their previous releases, there is an undeniable maturity that permeates their new work.

Song of the Day: COA – Triple Crown Don

Canadian rapper TRIPLE DOWN DON arrives for the first time on today’s hotspot with track, ‘COA’, featuring his flawless storytelling and a head-rolling bass that’s hard to pass up.

Coming from a musical family, where his father was a reggae and dancehall DJ and his mother displayed love for soul, funk and disco, Triple Crown Don started his musical journey in 2012, experimenting with a blend of genres, influenced by his early childhood. His first full-length demo EP, ‘SINGLE’ was released in 2018 under the alias ‘As.I.Am’. His debut offering caught the attention from various music tastemakers.

Known for his fascinating sound, rhythms, and freestyling over different types of beats, Triple Crown Don bounces right back with the first release of the year with ‘COA’, to appease major music tastemakers and fans.
