Introducing himself in the music world alongside top YouTuber ‘JoJo’,TEVAN drops his freshly coined ‘desi-swing’ sounds for Your listening pleasure…

To give you the low-down, TEVAN was born to Sri-Lankan parents some 21 years ago, and was raised in Croydon. The young star relocated to Bulgaria to go to University where he met a girl and fell in love but things took a turn for the worst when her family were unaccepting of the relationship. Fast forward to 2019 and the result of TEVAN’s influences and affairs of the heart have been wrapped up and captured in this snappy debut number from the man himself.

Hugely proud of his both his Sri Lankan heritage and his Croydon roots, the upriser has collaborated with a bunch of awesome music peeps to bring ‘Anyway’ to life. EP Review: Nothing Is Forever – Shon Jay

SHON JAY is that guy who set the bar high – and I mean unobtainably high among his music contemporaries.

His latest EP, ‘Nothing Is Forever’ may be only eight – tracks long, but there’s an electric mix of genres – from funk, old school soul and even an expected appearance of a little country – all of which oozes undisputed class.

Among a crowded industry that’s filled with quick-fix hits that’s easily forgotten, SHON JAY‘s ‘Nothing Is Forever’ is a true testament that there’s still GOOD and MEANINGFUL MUSIC out there and it’s definitely a collection that can be enjoyed from five or even ten years from now – I guess some things last forever.

Check him out below – it’s like listening to soul idols Stevie Wonder, Al Jarreau and George Benson, all wrapped up in one.

New Track: Sweet Little Lies – Bülow

Critically acclaimed German born pop iconoclast BÜLOW has released a brand new single called ‘Sweet Little Lies’, available on all download and streaming sites.

On the meaning behind the song the 19-year-old remarked, “’Sweet Little Lies’ is about creating false realities. When things get real, we find escapes. Sometimes it’s hobbies, and sometimes it’s people. But the degree of it we can’t always control.”

The latest single arrives just after the news that BÜLOW has received four nominations for the 2019 JUNO Awards, including Pop Album of the Year and Breakthrough Artist of the Year. Ahead of performing at the 2019 JUNO Awards on March 17th, BÜLOW will perform at SXSW in Austin, Texas.

The eagerly awaited new single follows the previously released ‘Damaged Vol. 1’ & ‘Damaged Vol. 2’, each instantly resonated with critics and new fans alike. ‘Damaged Vol. 1’ included ‘Not A Love Song’ which to date has clocked over 83 million streams.

‘Damaged Vol. 2’ included singles ‘You & Jennifer,’ ‘Honor Roll’, and buzzworthy ‘SAD AND BORED’,  praised by PAPER as, “the perfect pop study in contrasts, and further confirms bülow as an artist to watch with razor-sharp wit to boot.” HillyDilly called her “one of the brightest new talents in pop.” Last year also saw BÜLOW released much buzzed about ‘Two Punks In Love’.

Although BÜLOW has only just begun her musical journey with these recent releases, the music already stands tall as an impressive flag-bearer for things to come….

New Music Video: I Will Never Know – Gena Perala

GENA PERALA released single, ‘I Will Never Know’. Once again, the Canadian singer/songwriter teamed up with long-time producer Chris Gestrin to produce soft, down tempo synth-pop soundscapes, enhanced by Perala’s smooth, sweet vocals and poetic lyrics.

Her latest offering is the second track off a three song EP Perala plans for 2019. The EP also serves as a departure from her last album (Exactly Nowhere, 2014), where Perala trades in her piano for a synthesizer and a drum machine.
