Darren Parry Delivers Heartfelt Ballad, ‘Feels Like The World’s Stopped Turning’

DARREN PARRY‘s latest offering, ‘Feels Like The World’s Stopped Turning’ featuring Sian Elson, focuses on a relationship gone sour, leading to its sad demise.

Showcasing his three-and-a-half octave range, full of passion and conviction, Darren leads the heart-breaking pop ballad revealing his sadness and feelings of loss from a relationship. Trying to spare his feelings, Sian delivers her vocal with poise, expressing the desire to move on.

‘Feels Like The World’s Stopped Turning’ comes to a sudden climax as the pair’s emotively raw vocals becomes elegantly intertwined; a perfect build-up to a classic ballad.

He has been writing with hit songwriter James Warren of The Korgis (who penned worldwide smash hit, ‘Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime’), performing all over and has a brand new podcast called ‘Music Matters’.

KNOE Goes On A Lusty Journey With ‘Manhattan Summer’

Perfect for those warm summer nights, KNOE‘s new single ‘Manhattan Summer’, captures the rough sophistication of love in the queen of metropolis.

KNOE unfolds his seemingly effortless ability to transport the listener to ‘there and then’, with an element of Jazzy rap that makes this joint so sensual.

The inspiration behind this track goes back to his times in Manhattan. KNOE holds our hand and takes us for a walk through a romantic period full of lust and desire, while drawing a parallel between falling head over heels for someone and for a temperamental scene like Manhattan. “In reminiscence of that summer, I noticed a crazy similarity between the way I felt for a woman and the way I felt for the city.” The independent artist works alongside singer Paloma to bring those hot late evenings in the city to life.

‘Manhattan Summer’ follows his 2019 EP ‘Reasons’ and latest single ‘Down’. This one’s a REAL gem. Check it out below…

Track Premiere: Only – Dorian Thorson

NEW LEASE MUSIC is EXTREMELY pleased to be the first to present DORIAN THORSON‘s brand new single titled ‘Only’.

Boasting a laid-back, trap/afterhours vibe, ‘Only’ is about experiencing that first love and how it can fade away without having any real closure.

Speaking of his new release, Dorian says: “I wrote this song as a goodbye to mine as I’m pretty sure I’ll never see them again. I didn’t really get the closure I would have liked so ‘Only’ is my closure. Don’t get it twisted, I’ve moved on years ago but this song tells a key part of my life story and needed to be released to the world. That’s just how i want all my proceeding work to be –  Journalistic, personal yet relatable material.”

‘Only’ was supposed to be included in his debut album ‘The Come Up’ (check out the album and review here.) Dorian explains: “I felt like ‘Only’ didn’t fit among the others as it has a whole different instrumental for it.”

Out today on all major download and streaming sites, ‘Only’ marks the beginning of Dorison’s shift from his ‘hip-hop/Rnb’ combo to something more sensual and soulful. So keep your eye on this serious contender as he releases more material throughout the year.
