Despite being an incredible 2018 for WILD RIVERS, which saw them tour across North America as well as meeting people who share a connection to their music, the four-piece band somehow felt disconnected from all the things that provided love and comfort – home.
Recorded live off the floor with producer, Dan Hosh, their latest single, ‘Moving Target,’ encompasses all their feelings of being far away from the comfort zone, accompanied with the vulnerable guitar plucks and the irresistibly lush harmonies, which provide a rich folk/singer-songwriter affair.
Despite being disconnected from home whilst on tour, the guys are gearing up to headline some shows around their native country, Canada (see tours dates below).
Be sure to look out for more material from WILD RIVERS, as they’ve got really something special. Check out ‘Moving Targets’ below:

Produced by Luke ‘G Kid’ Grant, ‘Get It Right’, explores whether trust can be reinstalled in a relationship, accompanied with an infectious R&B vibe, reminiscent of the 90s – think SWV, TLC and Aaliyah.
‘Get It Right’ is the follow-up single to ‘Space’ featuring Cameron Bloomfield, released last year. The single was supported by Music Musings and Such, Lock Magazine, The Music Site and Hype Magazine. Canadian-based singer/songwriter AMAAL has revealed an emotional new single titled ‘Not What I Thought’. The bass thumping ballad documents the reminiscence of love in the past tense. This first single comes with a stunning music video shot in an otherworldly location and directed by Sean Brown (Daniel Caesar, K. Roosevelt) along with AMAAL’s creative direction. The video follows the Somali-born singer in various breathtaking landscapes courtesy of Sister Nature.
The young songbird has been widely described as the epitome of female empowerment, shown through her music such as the inspiring ‘Scream’ released back in late summer 2017. AMAAL also scored recognition with single, ‘Words Revealed’ which generated 200,000 YouTube hits within its first three months of release, and has inspired cover versions by fans. ‘Mufasa’ is considered her most viral song to date with views and streams accumulated to over two million.
To add to her already impressive discography, AMAAL is currently working on an EP, which no doubt will continues her self-exploration of being woman in today’s world. Check out the video to her latest offering below:
Enigmatic artist NOVA MOURA kicks of the year with brand new single ‘Nauseous’, which continues to explore his emotions in love and love-loss.
Commenting on the new single, Nova explains: “I wrote and recorded this track after reaching a certain point in a relationship where I was mentally and emotionally drained. The song focuses on the failing connection between me and this person, but comes more from a place of indifference and disdain. It’s more a song about my excitement of being done with this person.”
Produced by Canis Major and Fla. Mingo, ‘Nauseous’ is available on all major streaming/download sites from New Years Day. Check it out below:
